I really enjoyed the welcome from the night shift team that took care of my needs. They were super friendly and even got me a hot coffee to start my day right and it made a big difference.

It wasn’t exactly inexpensive but it was still acceptable.

The hotel is generally nice and clean with a spacious room, though the bathroom was quite small. Breakfast options were great, but some items could use improvement. Paying for parking on-site felt frustrating, and staff could benefit from more organization at check-in and check-out times.

Ask about unique room decorations or complimentary items upon arrival. not everyone gets to enjoy these special touches.

great access to parks and cultural attractions

During my stay, I was thrilled to find how close the hotel was to Cutteslowe and Sunnymead Park, making it easy to enjoy the lush green space and relax after a day of exploring. I marveled at the stunning architecture of the Ashmolean Museum of Art and Archaeology, which was just a pleasant walk away.

Exceptional staff and lovely amenities

I had a fantastic stay with my family, enjoying the spacious Superior Double Room and the delightful breakfast options. The staff were incredibly welcoming, ensuring a smooth check-in process and making us feel right at home. It was also great to have a coffee machine in the room for a quick pick-me-up. However, I think the bathroom could use improvements in space and accessibility, especially for families.

A Comfortable Family Getaway

Our stay was enjoyable, with a spacious family room that made us feel right at home. The hotel offers a decent restaurant with accommodating staff. Do try to arrive early for breakfast. the buffet can get busy during weekends. A great base to explore the city!

The executive king room was beautifully decorated, with a spacious layout and a luxurious wet room bathroom. The leisure facilities, especially the pool and sauna, were fantastic. The breakfast had a great variety and was freshly made, making mornings enjoyable.

Parking could be better signposted.

Solid breakfast options with plenty of choice. the layout allowed for self-service, making it easy to grab what you want. The clean, spacious superior room provided a comfortable stay, with air conditioning keeping things cool—a real plus for a hotel stay.

Parking fees were a letdown, especially since it felt a bit unfair for overnight guests to pay. The health and fitness center left something to be desired. it's cramped and often crowded, with limited use of the sauna and pool unless you book ahead. Navigating the hallways can be a challenge—several guests mentioned getting lost, which can certainly add frustration after a long day out. The restaurant and bar areas could also benefit from better temperature control, as they felt uncomfortably warm.

this hotel is lovely! staff were super nice n very helpful. the room was gorgeous with an amazin wet room bathroom. the steak at the restaruant was perfectly cooked n breakfast was great too! the pool was warm and the sauna, although small, did the job just fine.

Had an awesome time with friends! The hotel was perfect for our group, and we loved relaxing at the pool and enjoying a meal together. We took the short drive to the Oxford River Cruises outside The Folly restaurant, which was a great way to unwind. The breakfast was also a highlight!

One downside was the noise level. the walls were a bit thin, making it easy to hear neighbors. It disrupted our sleep a bit.

We had a great time at this place! Especially enjoyed the cozy room, the warm swimming pool, and the sauna, perfect for a chill evening. The fitness center was a nice bonus, and it really helped to burn off those extra calories.

The complimentary pod coffee machine in the room was a nice touch.

The bathroom was ridiculously tiny and not well maintained.

The pool was a letdown, but the location is perfect for a quick bus ride into town. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, with easy check-in. Loved the bar and grill for a laid-back evening meal after a busy day!

Would definitely recommend for a city trip.

Lovely clean room, comfortable bed, and great amenities like a fitness center and indoor swimming pool which made our stay enjoyable. it’s also conveniently located just a 15-minute drive from the nearest train station for easy access to explore the area.
